Chelsea news: Portugal star João Félix set to leave Stamford Bridge on loan, Aston Villa and AC Milan interested
Chelsea have an abundance of talent at their disposal, with several stars looking to leave the club in search of regular game time.
Christopher Nkunku had been linked with a move away to Manchester United and Bayern Munich, however, the Frenchman is now set to star at Stamford Bridge.
Portuguese attacker João Félix is rumoured to be a likely departure before deadline day, with Aston Villa and AC Milan both keen to take the forward on loan.
The winter transfer window slams shut at 23:00 GMT on Monday.
Struggled for game time
Despite only moving to East London in the summer, Félix has struggled to cement himself in Enzo Maresca’s starting lineup.
The 25-year-old enjoyed a successful loan spell with Chelsea in 2023, joining the club from LaLiga side Atletico Madrid.
The Portugal international then made the switch permanent in the summer, after spending last season on loan with Barcelona, however, the forward has been limited to just three Premier League starts.
Félix has played most regularly in cup competitions, where he has scored six goals and contributed a further one assist.
Where could João Félix end up?
Despite recently completing the signing of Marcus Rashford, Aston Villa appear to be the frontrunners for the Chelsea man.
At Villa Park, Félix would have to compete with the likes of Morgan Rogers and Leon Bailey, but would undoubtedly be a massive coup for the West Midlands club.
As per Team Talk, personal terms will not be an issue and the Portuguese forward wants to play under Unai Emery.
Italian giants AC Milan are also rumoured to be interested, however, Villa are currently the front-runner for Félix’s signature.
