Everton news: Toffees face a race against time after agreeing fee for West Brom star Tom Fellows

Everton have agreed a fee of £10million for West Bromwich Albion winger Tom Fellows, as per Alan Nixon via Patreon.

The Toffees face a race against time to get the deal over the line though, as Fellows needs to agree personal terms and have a medical with Everton.

The England U21 international has been a long-standing target for the Merseyside club, even before David Moyes took charge of the club.

Flying with West Brom

West Brom currently sit just inside the play-off positions in sixth place and look likely for a top-six finish under the guidance of veteran manager Tony Mowbray.

Fellows has been a huge part of the Baggies' success this season, playing in all 30 of the Birmingham club’s Championship matches, tallying 12 goal contributions.

Impressively, the 21-year-old tops the charts for assists in the English second division, setting up 10 goals.

Everton interest

Everton have suffered somewhat of an injury crisis in attack, with Dwight McNeil, Chermiti, Armando Broja and Dominic Calvert-Lewin all currently sidelined.

However, since Moyes took over, the Toffees have been in fine form, winning three of their four games under the Scotsman.

Fellows will inject some creativity into the Everton attack, something that the Merseyside club have lacked for some time.

If the Everton hierarchy can get this signing across the line before the deadline, Fellows could turn out to be a brilliant addition for a bargain price.
